You’ve got something to say.

A book, an idea, a body of work or a perspective shaped by years of experience. And you know it deserves to be seen.

But knowing what to say is one thing. Knowing how to position it, where to share it, and how to build meaningful visibility around it… that’s where things can feel unclear.

And that’s where I come in.

I’m Erin Huckle, a strategic PR consultant and book publicist based in Australia, working with authors, founders and experts to build credible, lasting visibility.

With more than 20 years’ experience in public relations across Australia and the UK, I specialise in helping people translate their ideas into media coverage, thought leadership and a strong, trusted reputation.

My career began at HarperCollins Australia, where I saw firsthand what it takes for an idea to cut through.

Now, I’ve come full circle, working closely with people who have something important to say and want to reach the audiences who need to hear it.

My belief in this work runs deep.

I grew up with a mother who was a librarian, so books weren’t just part of my childhood, they shaped how I see the world.

I’ve seen how a single idea, shared at the right time in the right way, can shift perspectives, influence decisions and open new possibilities.

That’s why I care so much about helping the right stories get seen.

I don’t believe in chasing headlines for the sake of it.

Over time, I’ve become less interested in surface-level visibility and far more focused on what actually builds trust, credibility and connection. Because thoughtful, strategic PR supports the bigger picture of your work.

For my clients, that means:

  • identifying angles that make their ideas genuinely relevant

  • shaping stories that resonate with media and audiences

  • building visibility in a way that feels aligned, not forced

And just as importantly, it means acting as a thought partner by bringing clarity, perspective and direction to your work.

Let’s be real.

At a 40-something professional, I’m done with wasting time on work that doesn’t light me up. I’ve built a business on my own terms, by working with people whose values align with mine, and creating space for both meaningful work and life outside of it. Because all work and no play is a one-way ticket to burnout town when you’re self-employed.

I live in Wollongong with my husband and three busy boys, and life is full, and sometimes a little chaotic. If I’m not at my desk you’ll find me walking the dog, taking a breather by the ocean, or with my head in a great book.

I work best with people who:

  • have something meaningful to say

  • are ready to step into greater visibility

  • want to build a reputation, not just attention

If you’re looking for quick wins or superficial coverage, I’m probably not the right fit.

But if you want to build a sustainable and credible presence, hi there! Welcome. You’re in the right place.

I can help with:

  • PR projects

I can lead and deliver strategic PR projects that help you raise your profile and share your work with the right audience.

From media outreach and thought leadership to award entries and campaign support.

I work closely with you to shape the story, find the right angles and ensure everything connects back to your bigger goals.

  • PR coaching

I offer PR coaching for those who want to build their visibility with the right support and direction, without handing it all over.

Together, we refine your story, strengthen your angles and give you the tools and confidence to approach media and opportunities in a way that feels clear and achievable.

    It’s a DIY approach with a step-by-step formula.

  • Strategic thought leadership

I help you shape a clear, focused approach to your content and visibility each month.

We map out timely ideas, themes and angles aligned to your expertise, so you can show up consistently and build a strong, credible presence over time.

This is ideal for thought leaders who need clarity to show up consistently.
